From a young age, Casey found a fascination with the natural world around her and wanted to capture and replicate the memories of objects and individuals in her life. Starting with graphite, she learned a variety of mediums such as digital painting before trying oil paint in 2018. Later that year, she was a finalist in the 2018 Young Archie for a portrait of her sister titled “The Child Within”.

Since then, Casey has continued to refine her artistic practice, producing artworks such as her HSC Major work “Drowning In Tragedy” and the more recent portrait of 2020 NSW Australian of the Year, Munjed Al Muderis.

As a young emerging artist, Casey is interested in capturing through her art the unspoken stories that our faces reveal.
